Gerber Prodigy
The Gerber Prodigy was influenced by the Gerber LMF 2. The Gerber Prodigy come in straight and tanto blade models. The tanto blade model is designed for tactical and military applications where extra piercing power may be needed. At about 9.5 inches long, the Gerber Prodigy is made of 420HC stainless steel, and like the Gerber LMF 2, the blade is serrated tword the handle. The handle is very grippy and comfortable in the hand and has a butt-end pommel for breaking glass. It includes a nice, militarygrade knife sheath. The Gerber Prodigy knife is MIRS compliant and the sheath is designed to attached to nearly any belt or back. The Gerber Prodigy sheath also includes one leg strap.

The Gerber Bear Grylls is made of edge-holding, high-carbon steel and as a partially serrated, folding survival knife is a handy to carry all day, every day. Honestly, I was really impressed with this knife once I got it in my hands. It's a 14 inch,  3/4 tang design with a butt-end hammer / pommel. The Gerber Bear Grylls sports a high-carbon, stainless steel, drop-point blade that goes from straight to serrated, like most top survival knives. This Gerber Bear Grylls Knife also has a very usable diamond sharpener built into the sheath, a molded rubber grip that is very comfortable, emergency whistle, fire starter rod, and Bear's useful "Priorities of Survival" pocket guide. The Gerber Bear Grylls sheath is very nice and is designed to strap to a pack and just about any belt. The Bear Grylls Ultimate Survival knife is really a well thought out survival system that comes at a very attractive price point. This may be the best survival knife for the money anywhere.


Gerber Hinderer Combat Life Saver Knife
Not normally considered a survival knife, the Gerber Hinderer Combat Life Saver is a tough tactical and military folding knife that is designed to overcome adversity. The Gerber Hinderer Combat Life Saver knife features a blackened 440A stainless steel partially serrated blade, drop point blade deisgn, large thumb stud for one handed openning (even with gloves), a seat belt and cloths cutter, a window punch on the butt-end and a pocket clip on the back. The Hinderer Combat Life Saver knife is also well balanced and feels good in the hand. This is a great knife that is designed for you to carry it all the time. The Gerber Hinderer Combat Life Saver is one tough knife that you can rely on in any emergency.

This knife is one of the best selling of all time. First released in 1966, the Gerber Mark II is a tactical knife that features a 420HC stainless steel, double serrated  blade that is coated with black oxide. The blade is 6.5 inches long with a overall length of 12.75 inches. The Mark II handle is made of aluminum and the overall knife weight is an astonishingly low 8 ounces.
